Stephanie and Wilson’s Gourmet Wedding

When we shot Wilson and Stephanie's engagement session, we knew that they were a fun loving couple, what we didn't know is that they were also food and wine connoisseurs. But we are getting ahead of ourselves. This easy-going couple had a sweet spring-time wedding at Hotel Valencia at Santana Row. They tied the knot in the large open-air courtyard on the second floor of this chic hotel. After the ceremony, we had fun shooting some creative portraits using the chain link curtains in the hotel bar as a prop, before heading over to the reception site, the Plumed Horse in Saratoga. We had no idea what a treat we were in for! The food and service at this Michelin-rated restaurant was exquisite. And as anyone who knows us will tell you, we are really into good food. Stephanie surprised everyone by singing to Wilson. She has a lovely singing voice and blew us all away. We later learned that Wilson had heard Stephanie sing the very first time they met, so it was a perfect gift to give him on their wedding day. The rest of the night sped by in music, food and dancing with this couple's friends and family.
