Rachel & Idris both live in the San Francisco Bay Area, but are getting married in Idaho later this year. Since they are both fond of San Francisco, they wanted to have an engagement session that incorporated the Golden Gate Bridge. So we decided to do the shoot on and around Baker Beach. We started of at the Legion of Honor for some portraits. The Legion of Honor has stunning architecture, but we like it mainly because of its great natural light. After our portrait session we proceeded to Baker Beach. Baker Beach is very popular with many Bay Area wedding photographers, but to our pleasant surprise we had the entire beach to ourselves that day. Having shot there many times it is always a challenge to come up with some new ideas and perspectives, but with the help of Rachel and Idris, we came up with some fun and creative shots. Too bad Idaho is so far away.
