San Francisco Engagement Session Photography
Our award winning engagement sessions are creative portrait sessions, in which we highlight our clients personalities. We photograph most of our engagement sessions in San Francisco or in the Sonoma/Napa Wine country, but we love to shoot in other areas as well. Engagement sessions are not only fun but are also a great way to get used to be in front of the camera, which can go a long way on your wedding day.
When planing your engagement session in San Francisco please keep in mind that the weather is more unpredictable. Especially summers in San Francisco can be surprisingly windy and cold. So it is important to be flexible on the day of the shoot as the city has many micro climates. We normally like to shoot our engagement sessions in the late afternoon, shooting into the sunset. Most of our summer engagement sessions are shot during the week, but occasionally we do have availability on weekends.
We also shoot engagement sessions in the Napa Valley and Sonoma Wine Country. Spring and autumn are the best times to shoot in the wine region. These engagement sessions often start at local wineries, with the occasional wine tasting 😉
