Susanne & Noah’s Let’s Go Giants Wedding!

We knew Susanne and Noah were SF Giants fans when we photographed their engagement session and they purchased tickets to a Giants game, so that we could shoot in the stadium. But we found out at their wedding just how "into" the Giants they were. Good thing the Giants won the world series 😉 This fun couple are both nurses and met while in nursing school. Our secret source tells us that Susanne was always laughing at Noah's jokes, and that Noah was always clowning around (perhaps because of his lovely fan base?) On their wedding day Susanne got ready at the Stanford Court Hotel with beautiful views of the Trans America Pyramid building. We proceeded to the majestic St. Ignatius Church on Parker Street where Susanne went into hiding while a nervous Noah took care of last minute details. The ceremony was beautiful as was the interior of this grand church. There was a moment of tension when a candle that had just been lit toppled over, not once but twice! After the ceremony and the formal photographs, we took Susanne and Noah to Crissy Fields to capture some shots at sunset with the Golden Gate in the background. At the reception which was at the base of a five story atrium at 888 Brannan Street (formerly known as the Gift Center), the decor, the flowers and favors were all orange and black, the SF Giants colors. Susanne changed into a gorgeous Chinese dress for a tea ceremony. Susanne and Noah also performed a spirited dance (Susanne is also a talented dancer) for their friends. Noah had created an emotional slide-show where we all were witness to his (secretly videotaped) proposal to Susanne while they were holidaying in Hawaii. The photo booth with costumes was a busy and fun spot to be at. A first for us was the pinball machine Noah had organized. It was a big hit with family and friends and especially the many kids in attendance.
